Sotto una buona stella: il 2020 di Cram inizia con una vittoria
Non c’era modo migliore per iniziare la racing season 2020 se non con una vittoria per Cram Motorsport.
Il team della famiglia Rosei è stato tra i protagonisti sia in F4 che nel GT Sprint, ma è nell’Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth che ha lasciato il segno vincendo Gara 2.
F4 – Rosso vince e convince, Kaprzyk migliora a vista d’occhio
Andrea Rosso ha iniziato il weekend con il 9° tempo in Q1, prestazione legata ad una lieve sbavatura che non gli ha consentito di esprimere tutto il suo potenziale. Lo stesso potenziale che non ha tardato a mostrare in Q2, dove ha chiuso con il 3° miglior tempo, risultato poi ripetuto anche per lo starting grid di Gara 3.
In Gara 1 il piemontese è rimasto imbottigliato nel traffico, ma è comunque riuscito a mantenere la top10, chiudendo 10º; solo una penalità lo ha poi retrocesso 12°. In Gara 2 l’assolo: partito dalla 2a fila, Rosso ha preso il comando e, nonostante la safety car, ha mantenuto la posizione fino alla bandiera a scacchi. La fortuna ha poi voltato le spalle ad Andrea in Gara 3 dal momento che, dopo un altro ottimo start, è stato costretto a tirare i remi in barca a causa di alcune difficoltà legate agli pneumatici, inconveniente che lo ha relegato in 8a piazza.
Mateusz Kaprzyk, che ha scelto Cram per il proprio esordio in monoposto, è stato protagonista di un weekend tutto in crescendo sul piano dell’esperienza. Il
polacco, dopo due buone qualifiche, ha chiuso due volte in 15a posizione (Gara 1 e Gara 3) e una volta in 17a piazza (Gara 3).
Classifica di campionato:
Rosso A.: 4° – 29 punti
Kaprzyk M.: 14° – 0 punti
GT Sprint – Un avvenire brillante
Daniel Vebster, che a Misano ha esordito con le vetture a ruote coperte, ha ottenuto buoni risultati nonostante un problema di natura tecnica non imputabile al team sofferto nelle prove libere. Lo svedese, in coppia con Giacomo Riva, ha chiuso subito a podio, 2°, in Gara 1, mentre in Gara 2 ha tagliato il traguardo in 4a piazza nella categoria GT4-AM. La poca esperienza nel campo, ma la grande sagacia fanno ben sperare per il prosieguo della serie.
Classifica di campionato:
Vebster D.: 3° – 22 punti
Gabriele Rosei, Cram Motorsport: “Il team ha compiuto un ottimo lavoro. Nulla è stato lasciato al caso, sono davvero fiero del lavoro dei miei ragazzi. Voglio complimentarmi con Andrea per la splendida vittoria, e con Mateusz e Daniel per la determinazione che ci stanno mettendo”.
La F4 tornerà in pista a Imola il weekend del del 31 agosto, mentre per il GT Sprint bisognerà attendere il 4 ottobre al Mugello.

The bright beginning: Cram’s 2020 starts with a victory
There was no better way to start the 2020 racing season than with a victory for Cram Motorsport.
The Rosei’s team has been among the protagonists in both F4 and GT Sprint, but it shined especially in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth in which the team won Race 2.
F4 – “Mr Red” wins and convincing, Kaprzyk grows
Andrea Rosso started the weekend with the 9th fastest time in Q1, caused by a little mistake that prevented him from showing his full potential. The same potential was pretty clear in Q2, in which he finished with the 3rd best time, a result then repeated also for the Race 3 starting grid.
In Race 1 the Piedmontese remained stuck in traffic, but he still managed to keep the top 10, closing 10th; only a penalty then relegated him 12th. In Race 2 the solo: starting from the 2nd row, Rosso took the lead and, despite the safety car, maintained his position up to the checkered flag. Lady Luck then turned its back on Andrea in Race 3 since, after another excellent start, he was forced to pull the oars into the boat due to some difficulties related to the tires, an inconvenience that relegated him to 8th place.
Mateusz Kaprzyk, who chose Cram for his single-seater debut, was the protagonist of a weekend in crescendo in terms of experience. The Polish, after two good qualifying, finished twice in 15th position (Race 1 and Race 3) and once in 17th place (Race 3).

GT Sprint – A bright future
Daniel Vebster, who made his debut with the GT cars in Misano, achieved good results despite a technical problem not attributable to the team suffering in free practice 1. The Swede, paired with Giacomo Riva, immediately closed a podium, 2nd, in Race 1, while in Race 2 he crossed the finish line in 4th place in the GT4-AM category. The lack of experience in the field, but the great sagacity bode well for the continuation of the series.
