Cram “saluta” il 2021 a Monza
Il round finale dell’Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth sancisce anche la fine della stagione agonistica europea 2021 di Cram Motorsport.
Il team di Erba era presente con 4 piloti al Monza Eni Circuit, in un fine settimana reso complicato dalle condizioni climatiche che hanno messo alla prova il talento dei Blue Boys.
Georgis Markogiannis e Nicolas Baptiste terminano la propria avvenuta in F4 con un weekend dalle note positive, specie nelle gare. Markogiannis ha concluso rispettivamente 23°, 19° e 18°, risultando il migliore dei Blue Boys, mentre Baptiste, in credito con la fortuna nelle prime 2 corse, ha chiuso Gara 3 in 17a posizione.
Buoni progressi anche dai due rookie Marcos Flack e Rocco Mazzola i quali, nonostante le condizioni avverse, hanno saputo mettersi in luce in più occasioni. Flack ha chiuso con il seguente score: 28°, 24°, 19°; risultati che potevano essere ancora migliori se non fosse stato per due penalità successive a quanto avvenuto in pista durante le prove libere. L’italiano Mazzola ha terminato due volte 24° (Gara 1 e Gara 3) e una volta 28° (Gara 2).
Gabriele Rosei, Team Manager: “La gara di Monza è stata una grande sfida per noi. Avevamo due piloti ormai esperti e due rookie assoluti, quindi lo staff ha lavorato su due fronti diversi. Nonostante le condizioni difficili, posso ritenermi soddisfatto dei risultati. Voglio ringraziare Marcos e Rocco per aver scelto Cram Motorsport per il loro esordio in Italia, al contempo ringrazio Nicolas e Georgis per questi due anni molto intensi.”
Il team è ora impegnato nella preparazione della “campagna” agonistica araba, che segnerà l’esordio delle nuove vetture F4.

The team from Erba was present with 4 drivers the Monza Eni Circuit, where the weather made things challenging for the Blue Boys.
Georgis Markogiannis and Nicolas Baptiste end their adventure in F4 with a weekend of positive notes, especially in races. Markogiannis finished 23rd, 19th and 18th respectively, being the best of the Blue Boys, while Baptiste, in credit with his luck in the first 2 races, finished Race 3 in 17th position.
Good progress also from the two rookies Marcos Flack and Rocco Mazzola who, despite the difficult weather conditions, went under the spotlight in several occasions. Flack closed with the following score: 28th, 24th, 19th; results that could have been even better had it not been for two penalties following what happened on the track during the Free Practice sessions. The Italian Mazzola finished 24th twice (Race 1 and Race 3) and once 28th (Race 2).
Gabriele Rosei, Team Manager: “The Monza race was a great challenge for us. We had two experienced drivers and two newcomers, so the staff worked on different fronts. Despite the difficult conditions, I can be satisfied with the results. I want to thank Marcos and Rocco for choosing Cram Motorsport for their debut in Italy, at the same time I thank Nicolas and Georgis for these two intense years.”
The team is now busy preparing for the UAE racing campaign, which will mark the debut of the new F4 cars.
