Cram Motorsport chiude la tappa di Spa con tre vetture
Continua a crescere l’impegno di Cram Motorsport nel 2022. In inverno la squadra di Erba ha preso parte alla Formula 4 UAE, di rientro in Europa ha fatto il proprio esordio nella Formula 4 spagnola, ma non ha certo rinunciato alla partecipazione alla serie tricolore. Anzi, per l’appuntamento di Spa-Francorchamps Cram ha portato in pista per la prima volta da quando è stata introdotta la seconda generazione di vetture di F4, ben tre monoposto.
Per l’occasione Cram ha potuto contare su Ricardo Escotto, ormai vero e proprio punto di riferimento della squadra della famiglia Rosei. Accanto al pilota messicano sono scesi in pista Georgis Markogiannis, al debutto stagionale dopo aver preso parte a programmi parziali nel 2020 e nel 2021, e Nicholas Monteiro, pilota brasiliano che occupa la terza posizione nel campionato di F4 locale e che ha fatto il proprio esordio assoluto in Europa.
Tutti e tre hanno dovuto scoprire il circuito di Spa-Francorchamps da zero, imparando i segreti e le insidie del tracciato belga nel corso del fine settimana. L’obiettivo non era quindi quello di portare a casa il risultato, ma di crescere passo dopo passo. Ecco quindi che Escotto ha conquistato il proprio miglior risultato in gara 3, suggellando un bel miglioramento. Lo stesso si può dire di Markogiannis e Monteiro, che si sono ben difesi sui saliscendi di Spa.
Il prossimo appuntamento del campionato tricolore è in programma a Vallelunga il fine settimana del 3 luglio, mentre Cram tornerà a calcare l’asfalto di Spa la settimana seguente in occasione del quarto appuntamento della serie spagnola.

Cram Motorsport completes Spa weekend with three-car line-up
Cram Motorsport continues to expand. After entering the Formula 4 UAE Championship in the winter, the Italian squad made its Spanish Formula 4 debut at the beginning of the year, but that didn’t stop it from entering the Italian series. For the Spa-Francorchamps event, Cram lined up with three cars for the first time since the introduction of the new Tatuus gen-2 machinery.
For this occasion, Cram relied on Ricardo Escotto, a benchmark competitor for the Rosei family. Alongside the Mexican driver, Georgis Markogiannis made his season debut after taking part in partial programs in 2020 and 2021. Nicholas Monteiro, a Brazilian driver who holds third place in the local F4 championship, made his absolute debut in Europe.
All three had to discover the Spa-Francorchamps circuit from scratch, learning the secrets and pitfalls of the Belgian venue over the course of the weekend. The goal was not limited to speed and results but focused on step-by-step growth. Escotto took his own best result in race 3, highlighting a brilliant improvement. The same can be said of Markogiannis and Monteiro, who defended themselves well on the ups and downs of Spa.
The next round for the Italian championship is scheduled on the July 3rd weekend at Vallelunga, while Cram will return to Spa the following week for the fourth round of the Spanish series.
