Ancora tre vittorie per Cram al Mugello!

Cram Motorsport rispetta le promesse e al Mugello Circuit riscatta il weekend opaco del Red Bull Ring.

Presente con 3 piloti divisi tra Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth and GT Sprint, il team ha ottenutotre  vittorie; due con Andrea Rosso in F4 e una con Daniel Vebster (e Giacomo Riva) nel GT Sprint.

Le condizioni climatiche hanno giocato un ruolo fondamentale, dal momento che la pioggia ha caratterizzato buona parte del weekend.

Andrea, dopo aver ottenuto la pole position nella Q1 e aver terminato 5° nel Q2, ha brillantemente vinto in Gara 1 mantenendo la leadership per tutta la durata della corsa. In Gara 2, mentre si trovava in lotta per la vittoria, a seguito di una bella rimonta, una penalità di 10” per partenza non conforme, ha complicato le cose. Nonostante essa sia giunta a soli 5 minuti dalla bandiera a scacchi, il torinese ha accumulato un vantaggio tale da rimanere comunque in 4a piazza, perdendo il podio per un solo decimo. In Gara 3, Rosso ha chiuso 4° al culmine di una prestazione molto solida su pista per la prima volta asciutta dopo le libere.

Andrea si trova ora 2° nella classifica generale assoluta.

Vittorio Catino si trovava alla prima esperienza in F4, per lui si è trattato di un vero e proprio battesimo di fuoco, in quanto è avvenuto con condizioni climatiche davvero complesse. Dopo la 28a e la 29a posizione maturate nelle due qualifiche, Catino ha chiuso in 21a posizione in Gara 1, mentre in Gara 2 ha finito 23°. In Gara 3, invece, il primo errore del weekend lo ha costretto al ritiro.

Daniel Vebster ha ottenuto la pole position nel suo turno di Qualifica, finendo 2° in Gara 1. In Gara 2 lo svedese ha saputo sfruttare bene il cambiamento delle condizioni climatiche e ha colto la vittoria in GT4-AM. Il tutto con la collaborazione di Giacomo Riva.

Gabriele Rosei: “Il weekend è stato positivo. Due vittorie, 3 con quella nella categoria Rookies F4. Ancora una volta il team ha dato un bel segnale. Certamente la penalità inflitta a Rosso lascia l’amaro in bocca, ma dobbiamo accettarlo in quanto – purtroppo – è parte del gioco”.

Il team tornerà in pista per il 5° round dell’Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth il weekend del 18 ottobre al Monza Eni Circuit.

Three victories for Cram Motorsport in Mugello

Cram Motorsport respects its promises, and it redeems the opaque weekend of the Red Bull Ring at Mugello Circuit .

The team was present with 3 drivers divided between the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth and GT Sprint. It achieved three victories; two with Andrea Rosso in F4 and one with Daniel Vebster (and Giacomo Riva) in the GT Sprint.

Weather conditions played a significant role, as rain takes up a good part of the weekend.

After obtaining the pole position in Q1 and finishing 5th in Q2, Andrea brilliantly won in Race 1 and got the leadership for the race’s entire duration. In Race 2, while he was fighting for the victory, a penalty of 10” for a non-compliant start complicated things. Although it came just 5 minutes from the checkered flag, the Turin driver has accumulated such an advantage that he still remains in 4th place losing the podium by only one-tenth. In Race 3, Rosso finished 4th at the height of a solid performance on a dry track for the first time since free practice.

Andrea is now 2nd in the overall standings.

Vittorio Catino was at his first experience in F4, for him it was a real “baptism of fire”, as it happened with really climatic conditions. After the 28th and 29th position gained in the two qualifications, Catino finished in the 21st position in Race 1, while in Race 2, he finished 23rd. In Race 3, however, the first mistake of the weekend forced him to retire.

Daniel Vebster took pole position in his qualifying round, finishing 2nd in Race 1. In Race 2, the Swede was able to take advantage of the changing climatic conditions and took victory in GT4-AM. All with the collaboration of Giacomo Riva.

Gabriele Rosei: “The weekend was positive. Two wins, 3 with the one in the Rookies F4 category. Once again, the team gave a good signal. Certainly, the penalty imposed on Rosso leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but we have to accept it as – unfortunately – it is part of the game.”

The team will be back on track for the 5th round of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth on the weekend of 18 October at the Monza Eni Circuit.
