Al Mugello l’atto finale dei campionati italiani 2022
Sui saliscendi del Mugello Cram Motorsport ha portato a termine i due campionati italiani che l’hanno vista grande protagonista nel 2022. Oltre alla Formula 4 Italia, in cui era impegnato il pilota greco Georgis Markogiannis, è infatti andata in scena anche l’ultima del Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint.
Purtroppo un problema meccanico non ha permesso a Daniel Vebster e Riccardo Agostini di prendere parte alle due corse, fermando la Ferrari 488 GT3 del team EasyRace. Nonostante la fine prematura della propria stagione, Vebster alla prima annata in GT3 ha mostrato una bella crescita, sfiorando il successo già nel secondo appuntamento di Misano. Un’esperienza certamente preziosa in vista del 2023.
Markogiannis ha invece pagato a caro prezzo un incidente nelle battute iniziali del secondo turno di prove libere, che ha compromesso il risultato delle qualifiche. Scattato dal fondo, Georgis nelle tre manche in programma si è ben comportato, recuperando dalla 40esima alla 26esima in gara 1, prima di chiudere 33esimo e 30esimo nelle ultime due corse.

Mugello hosted the final act of the 2022 Italian championships
On the ups and downs of Mugello, Cram Motorsport completed the two Italian championships that saw the team among the protagonists in 2022. In addition to Formula 4 Italy, where the Greek driver Georgis Markogiannis hit the track, the last round of the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship were held.
Unfortunately, a mechanical problem did not allow Daniel Vebster and Riccardo Agostini to take part in the two races, stopping the Ferrari 488 GT3 of the EasyRace team. Despite the premature end of its season, Vebster in the first year in GT3 showed a good growth, almost scoring his first success already in the second round of Misano. A certainly valuable experience in view of 2023.
Meanwhile Markogiannis had to deal with an early accident in the opening stages of the second free practice session, which compromised the result of qualifying. Starting from the back, Georgis performed well in the three races scheduled, recovering from 40th to 26th in race 1, before finishing 33rd and 30th in the last two races.
